Meeke Engineering undertakes specialized
welding of heavy plate fabrications that are subject to high levels of fatigue
loading structures and parts, such as Gyratory Crushers, Grinding Mills,
Discharge Slurry Pump parts, Vibration equipment, Gear Box, structural bridges,
Rail, and Locomotive parts.
Meeke Engineering is equipped with modern
innovative Lincoln Powerwave S500 Hyperfill twin-wire MIG welding machines that
produce heavy fabrication with consistently high-quality products while
improving productivity and efficiency.
Our welding capabilities include qualified welders(ISO 9606-1) with extensive experience in various materials ranging from high nickel alloys, Duplex, and stainless steel to high carbon and high tensile steels, cast iron, and Aluminium.
Through our extensive experience, we have developed over 85 Welding Procedure Qualification Records(WPQRs) that comply with standards AS/NZS 1554.1, AS1554.4, AS1554.5, AS1554.6, ISO 5817 and AWS D1.1.
Non-destructive testing of welds is typically carried out by NATA-certified third parties with Australian and ISO standards.
